Dressing the Light
Through the language of textiles, Joan Gaspar has designed a light of flexible, ductile materials that sifts the light as readily as it moves with the wind. In the Jaima collection, the light is the shade and weaver of emotions.
This new collection takes its name from the Bedouin tents of North Africa, and is inspired by their varied fabrics and forms. The textilene shade is available in three sizes and four different colors, with a blank interior to optimize the quality of the downward light.
The shades can be combined with two versatile stands to make various sizes of adjustable, rotating floor lamps; the fixture can also be affixed directly to the floor or wall, and the shades can be hung independently as pendants.
Materials:
Shade made of textilene with the inner part always in white. Stainless steel structure in lacquered grey.

Catch, Jaime Hayon’s first contribution to &tradition’s collection, is a chair that welcomes you with open arms. Its armrests extend from the shell like literal limbs, ready to embrace you as you sit down. In addition to being a witty personification, it is also an eye-catching piece of design. Serpentine lines give it a playful lightness that is counterbalanced by a sturdy, well-balanced base and legs that ensure maximum comfort. The shell offers comfort alongside great variability. With multiple textile and leather upholstery options available from Kvadrat and CA-MO and three different options for the legs (Wooden legs, tube legs or swivel base), Catch can be adapted to almost any colour scheme. & in the 1980s, Hayon was interested in skating and grafitti culture, which had an impact on the playful, detailed, colourful and humouristic elements in his design style.

The oak legs come with white oiled or smoked oiled. The wooden legs are fitted with felt gliders as standard.

Rotation, turning, return – these are the meanings of the Spanish word Vuelta. The backrest rotates playfully around the corner, becomes the armrest, continues on to the sitter – or recliner – in order to enclose them, as in an embrace. The special shape is divided by expertly crafted seam patterns, as a reminiscence of Josef Hoffmann.

It radiates through its unusual proportions, a special charm as a solitary character or the perfect counterpart for the Vuelta Sofa. The lounge chair with its articulating seam patterns is reminiscent of Viennese Modernism, however, looks like a small, enchanting monolithic sculpture.
